Kyle Mason Samson Scholarship
The Kyle Mason Samson (KMS) Scholarship is a $750 scholarship available to Jackson County 4-H Members. The application and all materials are due by March 15th of the current program year. Scholarships are awarded at the Jackson County Fair during the auctions. 


County Awards

These awards are open to all 4-H Members that have been in a project for 2 or more years. A registered 4-H Leader must sponsor the member's application by putting their name on the front page.

4-H Youth Volunteer of the Year Award

The purpose of this award is to reward a 4-H member age 8 and up that gives back to the county 4-H program. Over the course of a program year (September 1st- August 31st), you are asked to track your volunteer hours for the county program. Each time you volunteer, please fill out the tracking sheet and have the coordinator at the event sign it. A list of pre-approved events is provided below. Completed forms, along with the application must be turned in to the Extension Office by November 1 immediately following the end of the program year. Youth with the highest number of volunteer hours will be recognized at the Jackson County 4-H Awards Ceremony and will receive a $750 scholarship.

Jackson County 4-H Key Club Award 
This $1000 Scholarship is available to High School Seniors that have demonstrated leadership in Jackson County 4-H. Applications are due November 1st. The winner will be announced at the County Awards Ceremony
