Letter to Swine Exhibitors from the Jackson County Health Department

Recently, pigs at fairs in Michigan have tested positive for influenza A and some fair attendees have also tested positive for the type of influenza that has been found in pigs.The Jackson County Health Department, in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, would like families to enroll a text messaging system to see if household members who attended the fair develop any flu-like symptoms.
