We are excited to announce that the 4-H Foresters Challenge Club that was started in Washtenaw County is coming to Jackson County! Jackson County 4-H members can remain members in their current club but join this secondary club to learn more about the outdoors. The club participates in activities such as hiking, climbing, and paddling. We will be holding an informational meeting about the club on Sunday May 11th, 6:00-7:00pm here at the Jackson County Extension Office. Also, the group is planning a climbing trip to Big Bay in the Upper Peninsula May 22nd-26th. If you are interested in attending this trip, a mandatory meeting is scheduled immediately following the informational meeting on May 11th.
