Agriscience Exploration Program

Agriscience Exploration Program
Please see the following message from Jackson Area Career Center Agriscience Instructors. Please note that the deadline is this coming Tuesday:

We are excited to announce the continuation of the Agriscience Explorations evening program for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students.  This program allows students to experience the Career Center, the Agriscience Program, and become active members of the JACC FFA.

The program will meet on Wednesday evenings throughout the course of the school year beginning on October 9, 2013, in the agriscience classroom at the Career Center.  Students will have the opportunity to earn science credit.  The program will focus on developing and conducting an agriscience experiment project, along with leadership and career exploration.

The cost of the program is $50.  The program fee will be collected at the first class meeting date. Students will receive an FFA t-shirt and FFA dues will be paid.

If you would like to participate in the program, please see your local school counselor to complete a Career Center enrollment form.   Students need to be enrolled before October 1, 2013. For more information about the program, click here.

Please feel free to contact Mr. Jason Gehrke or Mrs. Elizabeth Tomac with any questions.
We look forward to working with you this coming school year!
