Don't forget that every 4-H and FFA member bringing an animal to fair is required to sign a form stating that they have read and agree to follow the bylaws of their species. Exhibitors bringing Dogs, Rabbits, Goats, and Poultry must sign the Small Animal Bylaws Agreement. Exhibitors bringing Beef, Sheep, and Swine must sign the Large Animal Bylaws Agreement. Both forms can be found under the Fair Documents tab at the top of the page. Forms will be turned in to your species superintendent at check in.
*Please note that some of the bylaws have changed. Be sure to read your species information very carefully.
4-H Livestock Association Meeting
Lots of important topics were covered at last night's Livestock Association meeting. Here are a few things you may have missed:
- Record books need to be turned into your Project Leader by 11:30am on Sunday, August 4th. Please give the Record Book to your Club Leader if there is not project leader in your club.
- When bringing your animals in, remember that all animals need to be checked by the superintendent(s) while they are on the trailer. Do not unload animals before the superintendent has a chance to look at them.
- Please remember: unless you are scheduled for Barn Duty, exhibitors are asked to exit the barns at the time the Fairgrounds closes.
Sheep: July 25th at 6:30
Swine: July 25th at 6:30
Beef: pens may be set up anytime during the week before fair.
Please contact the superintendents if you have specific questions about pen set up.
