Shooting Sports Program Update
This year, many Jackson County Youth signed up for the Shooting Sports Project. In order for a group to have a 4-H Shooting Sports program, there needs to be a leader in charge who has gone through the Michigan 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor Training. Currently, Jackson County does not have a certified instructor and is looking for an adult to attend the next instructor training. The 4-H Shooting Sports Adult and Teen Instructor’s Certification Workshop (#117) is scheduled for April 26-28, 2013 at Kettunen Center. More information can be found here. The Jackson County 4-H Council is willing to pay 1/2 of the registration fee for a potential instructor to attend this training. Please contact the Extension Office if you are interested.
