The 4-H Swine Superintendent would like to clarify the process for swine check-in. Pigs can be brought to the fair any time between 3 p.m. and midnight, and must be checked prior to unloading. Weighing of the pigs will begin at 6 p.m.
Reminder: Poultry check-in is 4pm to 8pm on Friday, August 3rd. All birds are required to be pullorum tested. Project books must be turned in before birds will be allowed into barn. Volunteers are still needed to man all the check-in stations. The more the merrier! The faster the birds are in the barn, the less time they spend waiting in line under a blazing sun!
Poultry Barn Clean-up
Thank you to every one who helped on Barn Clean up day on Sunday for Poultry, Rabbits and Goats. It was a great turn-out and made for quick and efficient work. Please remember that clean-up on Sunday, August 12th is just as vital and important. Hope to see you there!
Shifts Available At Ice Cream Booth
The following shifts are still available for clubs wishing to help run the booth:
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
