Thanksgiving Reminders

Storage of Leftover Turkey
  • Refrigerate at 40°F or below
  • Leftover turkey - 3 to 4 days
  • Stuffing and gravey - 2 days
Freezer 0°F or Below
  • Plain turkey slices or pieces - 4 months
  • Turkey covered with gravy - 6 months
  • Stuffing and gravy - 1 month
Foods frozen remain safe longer but may become drier and lose flavor.

DO NOT USE BROWN PAPER BAGS FOR COOKING
They are not sanitary, may cause a fire and can emit toxic fumes. Intense heat may cause a bag to ignite, causing a fire in the oven. Instead, use purchased oven-cooking bags.
