Upcoming Workshop for Sheep and Goat Producers

Dr. Richard Ehrhardt will be hosting workshops for the integrated parasite management program for sheep and goat producers.

The workshop will be offered in 3 locations:
July 24  10 a.m to 4 p.m    Manchester, MichiganSharon United Methodist Church,  Corner of Pleasant Lake Road and M52, Manchester
July 31   10 a.m to 4 p.m     Union City, Michigan
Union City Fire Hall, 123 Hammond St., Union City
September 11   10 a.m to 4 p.m    Beaverton, Michigan
First Presbyterian Church of Beaverton, 201 S. Ross St. Beaverton
Internal parasite management is a major hurdle for success in both sheep and goat production.  To help sheep and goat producers deal with this challenge, Michigan State University Extension is offering an educational program at three locations in Michigan.  Participants will learn how to more effectively deal with parasite issues through discussion and hands-on activities.  Join Dr. Richard Ehrhardt, MSU Small Ruminant Specialist and Roberta Osborne, MSUE Small Ruminant educator, as well as other MSUE staff at a location convenient to you, for a day of fun-filled learning activities that will include both classroom and on-farm activities and training.
