Upcoming Food Preservation Workshop

MSU Extension Educator, Jan Seitz will be holding a food preservation workshop at MSU's Rogers Reserve (7900 S. Jackson Rd.) on August 4, 2010 from 6 to 8:30 pm. The program costs $10 and will cover pressure and hot water bath canning methods. 


In addition, a limited supply of the book "So Easy to Preserve" will be available for $20/ea. Published by the University of Georgia's Cooperative Extension, this book is filled with over 300 pages of how-to's, tips and recipes, and is an excellent resource for anybody interested in preserving food at home.
